Afraid these days I'm not much of a sports-fan, or even spectator, except for watching 4WDTV & the occasional rally (but ATM the TV coverage is almost non-existent). IMHO, the huge amounts of money involved in most sports produces too much unethical behaviour on & off the field (that includes some coaches & managers), has spoiled it for many.

Same here Stevie, The only interest I have is to know who won.
In the ARL I will support any team outside of NSW.
In the AFL I will support any team outside of VIC.
A lot of the players are just poor examples of sportsman.
When I was a kid, the players were honoured to be chosen to play for their team. These days it's "How much will you pay me".

Long time suffering doggies supporter here, Happy with their effort against freo today. Their bodies were just too big and strong for us today. My advice would be not to take freo lightly, they are a top 4 contender for sure.

Bomber fan here as you know. But I felt sorry for the D's and hate to see a team like them.
Absolutely no direction, arguments on the field between players and a coach that seems to have given up.

Reminds me of Fitzroy in the later years. Except Melbourne has money.

Originally from Adelaide lived in Port Adelaide most of my childhood. Barracked for the SANFL Port Adelaide team so it was natural progresson. Must admit I'm happy with our start to season so far.
