Tigerz11
Tigerz11 125x125 alloy rack. Easy to lift and fit. No help and it took 45mins to get it all attached. $259 plus delivery. Also got hitch tow point, 60" jack and holder and a hitch mount for a winch when I can afford one. It also doubles as a jerry holder, plastic ones fit right in, probably metal ones too.

Ok so I decided to have a play with my intercooler fan. Direct power it doesn't work. She is stuffed. Bridged the temp sensor with ignition on, still nothing.... I'll attempt to fit a new one tomorrow. Any suggestions on the wiring? Should I leave the temp gauge and hook it up as per factory or just run the fan from a switch when I feel it needs it? Couldn't see the relay for the temp sensor. Might see it in the day light.

I'm very new to diesels, yet a diesel mechanic at work suggested them as they are from the same motor and have 150bar pressure as opposed to 130bar in the pajero. Might be able to crank pressure up to suit. I will see and report when I have time to book in for fitment and tune probably 5mths away at this stage. Got to do the exhaust first. Will get a dyno run before and after fitment if possible.

What a day I've had with this car. Firstly my egr pipe that exits the exhaust manifold (which was blanked) decided to snap. After many attempts to undo the 2 nuts, they became rounder. Bought a nut splitter and it kept slipping off when tight.
Removed the whole intake manifold (breaking away some of the gasket with it) to access it. Nut splitter still wasn't cooperating, took to the nut with an angle grinder. while watching not to hit the oil feed pipe I went too deep on the nut and got the stud. Re fitted the blank on manifold with the old cut off pipe over it to clear the damaged thread.
Tightened nicely then SNAP.... followed by a few choice words.
Left it be to regroup... Decided to clean and remove the broken gasket from intake manifold with a paint scraper. And SLIP into my hand... followed by more choice words and a lot of red fluid. Sorted that out and all is good.
So also realized I now have to remove whole exhaust manifold to get new gasket on. What is the best way to remove the broken stud? Assuming while the turbo and manifold is off the car. Or should I just get a new exhaust manifold already blanked?
