Did we lose a skin over the past couple of days?

    Dave,

I've noticed in the past couple of days that my browser is now using a different skin. I went to change it back to the original skin and found it was no longer listed. Can't remember the name of the skin other than to say it was a blue style.

    Was it removed?

    Cheers,
    Mike

Yes it was, I didn't think anyone was using it. Or maybe they were?

I seem to recall this was discussed some time back and a few people said they preferred it. Let's see who else was using it...

Ok the reason it was deleted is that that skin and Browner (which is still there) are for earlier versions of V bulliten and some functions were missing or incomplete. Was also having trouble with the headers. If you were quite attached to that skin then maybe we can find something near enough to what it was but for the latest version we run here.
        Some ideas here http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/f91/

'Browner' doesn't display properly on a 1440x900 resolution screen - it runs off the right hand side.
I find 'Silver Blue' hard to read.

Please bring back the old skin if possible.

Ok, new skin is up. This one is called VB Classic Blue. If you have troubles with fitment on your screen let me know.

Looks good. Although the banner is misaligned. Can easily live with this.

                Thanks

The colours of VB Classic Blue are perfect. I see the same as Endorphin, the top banner is mis-aligned.
It looks like the skin doesn't cope with 1440x900 widescreen though (white bands each side). No dramas, I'll go for quality over quantity.

Screen grabs of Classic Blue and Browner for comparison.

                    | Just noticed the Classic Blue skin doesn't have the "User CP, FAQ, Members List, Calendar, New Posts, Search, Quick Links, Log Out" menu bar.

                    Thanks.

Must be your screen resolution. I am running 1024 x 768 on 19" widescreen and all skins and desktop look good.

This is also through Explorer on Windows XP.
