NW wouldnt start !

Had an issue last night where the vehicle would turn over but not start, no check engine lights & no codes, Vehicle was parked on a level road, manually primed the fuel (One /two pumps and was tight) still no go.

Disconnected chipit, still no go......

Anyway disconnected battery for 5 minutes reconnected and it started first kick !!!

Definitely the immobilizer connection. Happened to me recently also, see here:

Don't think it's that guys, speaking from experience (lol) if it's that plug it kicks over and starts and runs for about a second or two before it dies. Sounds like his kicks over but doesn't start.

Still check it by all means as it's a 10 second job to check but I reckon it's not that

Hasn't done it since, will check the connector and let you all know.

It reminds me of an issue I had a long time ago when I first got the Ford Escape, it would not start when parked outside two particular shops in Warrnambool, I knew one of the shopkeepers well and asked him to turn off the shop security/anti Theft scanner (rfid I think) and sure enough it would start fine if it was turned off, as soon as he turned it back on the vehicle would not fire. Never got the chance to check with the other shop owner, never parked out the front of his shop again.
I would have thought if it was the anti theft it would do it all the time?

My Pathfinders remote would not work when I parked outside of my inlaws house, same with my Brother in laws Navara.
Had to flip up the access keyhole and open maually.

Maybe you were in a Pajero black spot

Again no codes !!!!

Spoke to a couple of Pajero mechs and they suggested the following-

Possibly crank angle sensor signal issue,

I don't have access to a scope so how do I check this ?
