G'day guys,
I'm considering to buy a diff locker for my Pajero NJ, ARB is good but expensive, comparing my $8000 car especially. I found LOKKA on the internet, which is produced by an Adelaide manufacturer. ( http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/html/lokka.htm ) It seems good and much cheaper ($650 only).
But the sales guy said if I fit it in a Pajero, I can not use the constant 4WD mode on a bitumen surface any more. I'd pretty like to keep that mode because it can deal with almost 90% of the offroad tracks and I don't need to worry about anything if I forget to shift back to 2wd when I drive back home.
Does anybody know about it? Is it a worth buy? I don't quite understand is there any difference between a Pajero in all wheel drive mode with a LOKKA in the front differential and a 2WD car with it, why 2WD can have it( as they said in their website) but a constant 4WD can't?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
