    high idle on start up

Hi guys, every time I start my car it revs to 1350 rpm and slowly comes down too about 800rpm mostly first thing in the morning but ambient temperature very rarely below 18 and even after work on a hot day same thing, just worried about damage on start up should I be checking for vac leaks or is that normal any help would be great cheers, by the way it's automatic

    I would consider that normal.

Only had ours for a few months, but it does exactly the same thing. I've assumed it is normal behaviour.
