    Replace or repair Control Arms?

    Hi all,
Well the old Paj has been a money pit of late so looking for advice. After just getting a completely blocked DPF cleaned and refitted I’ve been informed my front left lower control arm needs a bit of work both ball joints and bushes. Now along with the DPF I recently had the sway bar bushes and linkages done so with the control arm repair I want to save cash. Advice on; 1. Buy good bushes and ball joints for both sides and do it myself, or 2. Buy replacement control arms for both sides and do it myself.
We love the car it’s done 290,000km still runs great but wear and tear is taking its toll. It really is a question of money as I don’t mind doing the work myself to safe on labour costs.
    Cheers in advance
