                Thanks guys!

It's not my favourite car at the moment. Had her fully loaded on Thursday night, all ready for a trip over the long weekend.. Rushed home from work Friday arvo, got ready to leave, drove her out the driveway and left a drip trail of coolant all the way through the gates.. I wasnt happy. Grabbed all of my stuff out of the Paj and had to take the Ranger..

Ranger isn't a Paj's butthole in my opinion haha. But it's a good work car.

Doesn't do too well in the mud.. I guess I was just curious..

Anyway, once home I was having a look around, and the coolant is dripping from gearbox/transfer case? I can't think of what its dripping from to drip off there? Is there like some welsh plug or something? (pardon my incredibly sparse mechanical knowledge)

Also, poor thing copped a hiding recently. Bashed up front bumper side. Same at the rear. And the passenger rear door copped a stupid tree stump.

But it's had some fun up at Toolangi

                Scenic paj creek shot

That hill up ahead was a bit difficult.. Theres a vid somewhere around

                Lucky it wasnt any wetter

Some flog having a grouse time haha

The approach angle is pretty good in these things so surprised you bent the front bar! The rear bar however is a different story (mine needs a straighten out). A custom rear bar would be awesome.

Cool pics mate! Loving the lift in the rear.

It was a fairly precarious position... haha

So the leak was found. At first we found a hose at the back of the head area that looks suspicious, had been split and joined with a piece of copper, but turns out that was kosher, and it was looking like this with the inlet off

you can see the copper/joined hose there. So it was a scary overnight waiting for my mechanic to get back to me after sending that photo. I was certain it was heads. Turns out it was inlet manifold gaskets. Heads had been off previously and whoever did it had reused the old inlet manifold gaskets and used some kind of silicone to seal them, which was eaten at by the oil I guess. Replaced and it's all good! Luckily I didn't do damage.

Got her home.. Lovely lass, she is.

Then I decided to get all Nick Cage and took it's face... off

But that was so that I could replace it with this:

Pretty happy in the end! Got it for a great price and delivered, too! I was told it was ARB, though I can't tell, and I'm not sure. Overall it's a nice bar. Only a small cut and some holes to mount it. I was told it was off a "90s model". Meh, mine's 1990.. it'll do haha.

So yeah, tomorrow I'll see how I go, but I'll chuck in my UHF I bought, and depending how i go, may mount the winch off the ranger on the Paj. May be a case of it being a few day job haha, but we'll see..

Installed my UHF and went for a drive today. Savage lack of flex

Made sure I got one with orange backlighting so it matched. What ever happened to function over form?

You running a rear swaybar? Can't remember if i have asked before...but its one of the better mods I have done (removing it)...and doesnt handle as bad as I thought on road without. A lot more flex is achievable that way.

Ah fair! Ill give it a go. I recently replaced the shocks with standard length ones unfortunately.. I wish I hadve got longer stroke. But I'll try the swaybar delete, see how I go. Thanks Andrew

I thought you would have gone longer shocks for your massive coils lol

You will be impressed with no swaybar...you will need to undo the bottom shock mount (I did drivers side) to get the bar out. Its a bit of a jiggle.

Unfortunately bought standard shocks when i first bought the car years back. Never fitted them until I was under there to put the new springs in, thought what the heck. It's on the to do list.
Had a look under there when I got home.. Swaybar will come out tomorrow haha.
