Default ACC wire to tap into

Hi,

Looking to add an extra cig lighter socket/usb to the back of the car. Is there an ACC wire that i can tap into so that when car is switched off sockets are also off.

Already am using fuse13 for the dashcam and gps.

Thanks

Are you referring to the second row seats or the boot?

I’ve done exactly this. Just tap into the wire feeding the outlet inside the console/ armrest. That one is already switched on acc. It’s right there, just tap into it.

Thats exactly what i want to do . It was only the sight of the cig lighter wiring in the dash that was scaring me. (didn't want to start a fire).

Looks like i will just tap into the wiring in the console.

Do i remove the 2 screws inside the console and the plastic cup holder to get to the wiring

I think it's just the screws in the base of the console itself plus the ones under the cup holder.
I honestly can't remember but what I did do was take the console away and work on it on the bench

EDIT: I just took a look and you do need to remove a bit more.
Pull the cup holder out, unscrew the 4WD selector knob, slide the gearchange collar down and remove the 2 screws then the knob.
Pull the gearshift surround up and out.
Then remove the screws holding the front part of the console out, lift up the main part, unplug the connectors then take the rear section out.
