Default Starter Motor Rebuild or Replace ?

Hi Everyone,
My starter motor has just died, I've read some older threads and managed to take it apart, found some sand inside the unit and the seals where destroyed. I like the idea of rebuilding as its a genuine mitsi part, but I can't seem to find anywhere to buy the seals, bushes I've found online.

Dose anyone know some decent websites to buy Pajero parts ?
Im also after break discs, pads and a full service kit.

thanks

I tried to upload a photo of the sand inside, but for some reason there is a error.

Megazip and the like https://www.megazip.net/ should sell individual parts for the starter motor, but if its had sand in it it is probably on borrowed time. I have been running an aftermarket ebay special ($110) starter for a few years now and its given no issues.

For regular service parts (filters, oil, etc) each to their own but I like Bursons for stock availability and price. Its usually cheaper than supercheap and the staff are knowledgeable about parts. There are also "full service kits" available on ebay which are sometimes good value for money.

Thanks. I've just had a look at Bursons, looks good I'll go in this weekend to check it out. I stopped going into my local Repco, the staff where useless. Your probably wright, might as well just replace the thing, and spend time on something else.
There is a lot to be done on my old Pajero anyways.

Hey,

I got one for my NL from eBay. Only installed it today but works fine. Was only $85 and think the ebay seller was calling Tuning Parts. There a heap there around the $80 mark
