    Overheating

Hi all, first post here (probably not the last one with that car)

My car is running high on temp especially on low speed (have to run the heater fan at maximum) and goes back to 3/4 (which is still hot I find) when I drive faster around 90-100km/h. Changed the viscous oil clutch for a new jobber one and get the thermostat tested (found to be good) and it is still doing the same thing.

Today by climbing a good hill it went really hot and had to stop and let it cool down (high rpm on the hill). At the first restart the car did shake strangely a couples times but now it looks like it came back to life and is just as bad as it was for a week or two. Except now it's cooling more at idle with heating at maximum than it cools at high speed with heating too. Hope it didn't hurt the engine.

Anyway, do anyone have an idea of what's going on with the cooling system? The mechanic told me a powerflush would be the last thing that should solve the problem, what do you think about that?

    Thank you!
