So when I bought my Paj mid last year it had just been serviced with a new air filter. Not sure on the brand but it says "Made in Indonesia" written on it. I bought a Ryco filter but had not installed it yet as the current filter still looked in pretty good nick. After reading the above today I decided to remove and measure the thickness of the seals on both filters. "Made in Indonesia" filter was 10mm and the new Ryco was 12mm. I inspected the box internals and could not see any signs of dust getting past the filter. I don't drive dusty roads very often though. I've since decided to ditch the Indonesian filter and install the Ryco which I will monitor over the coming months.

Made in Indonesia sounds like the Donaldsons I use. I know the shop who serviced it but unsure what filter was used. They installed a Sakura oil filter so I'd imagine the air filter was about the same level of quality.
