    LHF Footwell Lamp

Guys, I have had my NW Pajero pulled apart for several months, and have what I think is the LH footwell globe hanging look and can’t figure out where it is meant to plug into. Could someone have a look at their car and take a photo to show me where it plugs in

In the plastic trim piece directly under the glovebox, it sits horizontal and is a black. See pic below with orange light to right hand side.

Thanks aussieintas, you are correct that is the footwell light, but the globe I have hangin out in my original pic must be for something else, and I can’t work out what, it only comes on when the headlamps are turned on. Anyone else have ideas of what it is for, and where it comes from

Clips into the back of the glovebox and provides light into it.

Yep as NJV6 says glovebox light. Sits at top of gloive box, just a quarter or half turn into the hole to secure the holder.

It's a holder for a roadside flare - a requirement in Japan but nowhere else I believe (nor legal in a lot of countries). We all have wondered the same at some point!

                      Ironrock.

They are in led globe built into a plastic housing, see pic below. It would be worth checking the wiring to make sure its plugged in propery first before ordering.

From Partsouq.com the part number is 8470A003.

The holder is actually for a torch, all cars in Japan have them. Those cheap coloured aluminium torches fit in there perfectly. Is a very handy spot.

Which ones? Would love to add one to that spot...

They’re normally near the counter at supercheap or even officeworks etc they’re about 3-4 inches long and take 3 or maybe 4 AA batteries.
