How clear is you voice when you call people on Bluetooth MMCS

I have the same problem With my Iphone, the volume was very soft and tinny for the listener, I increased the mic volume in the service menu and it just made it more tinny. Maybe it's just the iphone!

I own a NT pajero and drive a Toyota Hilux for a work car and I have the same sort of problems, I think it may have something to do with the type of phone you have because I have have good sound with a good phone and bad sound with a cheap phone, anyway its just my veiw.

I wouldn't call the Iphone a cheap phone, I think it is more an 'incompatibility issue' as my Iphone worked well with my previous vehicle.

I wasn't having a go at you or anyone else, just pi$$ed off because the Iphone is expensive (probably put together cheaply!) and you expect the thing to work well which is probably the wrong thing to do these days!!

Mine is fine with an I-Phone in the NT. However in the previous NS model it was unusable.

yep NT all Good, esp with settings at 3 for mic and 3 for speaker...

Tried messing with the settings in the mmcs.. All I did was spend around $50 on calling myself to test and got nowhere fast lol
So will be bringing this up with them in a few weeks when i go in for service

And yes I do think its the mic on top right.. or the gps antenna!

The are about 53 different settings in here for blue tooth quality, or if someone has an iphone working well what their values are for these settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

see my previous post, this is for iphone all other settings are factory. works just fine.

although when my wife calls it sounds whiny, scratchy and always cuts out when she asks me a question.............

People say my voice sounds tinny and distant but it is clear and I have no trouble being understood. As long as I don't echo I am happy.

So from the poll the issues seems to be with quite a few of the mmcs units.
Glad to hear some people have no issue so will be taking it up with my 15k service in a few weeks.

I disconnected my battery to reset the ecu...now no blue tooth phone kit!!...any ideas ?

You may need to re-pair the phone to the car as it may have wiped the memory.
