    Triton Refreshed for MY 17

The Mitsubishi Triton has been refreshed for 2017 with new features and designed tweaks across the entire line-up – it’s on-sale now.
THE MITSUBISHI TRITON range has been refreshed for 2017. To keep the top-spec Triton variants within coo-ee of the fresher players on the market, the GLS and Exceed models now get Smartphone Display Audio or SDA – with 7-inch colour touch screen has been added to the top-spec Triton GLS and Exceed for improved connectivity. In addition, Exceed now has an electro-chromatic rear view mirror and heated front seats.

All cosmetic changes really except for the "all terrain tyres"
Oops, that should be "all terrain tread patterned passenger tyres" as they are 245/70R-17 111S load index.
Still a great value offering in the ute sector at under $40K for Base GLX and the GLX+ Double and Club Cab 4x4 variants.

And from now on they are going to get nagged from the Smartphone Link Display now in the GLS and Exceed. Still represent great value these utes. Test drove both manual and auto versions and they go pretty good.
Although it doesn't mention it I think they have put softer rear springs in the MY17 models for a bit more comfy ride.

I agree with johnboy, the standard radio is woeful and near impossible to see when the sun is anywhere above the horizon because of the glare. Other than that and a small gearbox issue which is being sorted under warranty (was a known issue with the manuals) I absolutely love the rig (MY16 GLX).

Im now going to remove the stereo, the screen is a joke. Most of the time its unreadable....also the camera seems very low quality (I think the screen resolution is to blame, not the camera. Im going to replace it with a Pioneer AVH-X8850BT. I just need to do some research to make sure I can make the factor camera work with it

Any LCD display is hard to read when there is direct sunlight shining on it. I'm not convinced an aftermarket unit will make a lot of difference.

Regarding the camera resolution, I find it's clear enough for the intended purpose. I can see vehicles, other obstacles, line marking, and the tow coupling on my camper. I doubt I could read a book through it, but that's not something I'm likely to want to do.

I bought that radio and fitted it to mine (ML) over Christmas.
the screen is much better in regards to glare than the previous radio that I had fitted (and I still have yet put on the factory shroud) which should be slightly better again.

not sure on the factory camera

                    Seen the suspension lift.

1 inch strut spacer on the front and a 2 inch block on the rear. Factory suspension.

And they offer a 10 year warranty, which is something I think we used to have on the drivetrain only (might've been 7 years)??? And 5 years on everything else...someone correct me here if I'm wrong.
