Default Catch Can pressure relief valve

Hi, I recently installed a Provent 200 in my 2019 NX as discussed in my earlier thread. Just noticed that there's no pressure relief valve incorporated into the top lid as I would have expected. There is another what looks like a relief valve on the outlet side but nothing in the inlet chamber. Is this normal? Thanks.

Thanks for your response Seigried, I have seen the data sheet in your attachment. Pages 5 and 6 details two (2) pressure relief valves, one on the lid and the other on the side. Mine only has the one on the side, hence my question. Do you have one and does it only have the side valve? Thanks.

Default Catch Can relief valve

Problem solved, mine is a genuine Provent which I got from Western Filters recently. On mine there's a relief valve on the bottom of the filter, similar to the ones on the lids of I assume earlier models. They must've moved it to there to vent the fumes when over pressurisation occurs back into the intake rather than the atmosphere, makes sense. Photos attached of the lid with no valve and filter with the valve on the bottom.
