I fitted a genuine NS Mits steel bullbar to my NW. No troubles at all.

Ask the seller to send you a photo of the manufacturer's plate on the bar - it will give you all the details.

Also check all fittings, bolts, black plastic guard infills, etc are included, as some people don't take the time to remove everything properly.

The complete kit (I hope I remember it all) includes the bar, 2 rubber flares for the sides, 4 brackets to mount the bar onto the chassis, 4 bolts, nuts & washers and a template to drill the holes in the chassis in the correct place. And, of course, instructions on how to do the job.

I remember that drilling one of the holes was a bit awkward, but other than that, it was all straight sailing. They recommend screwing the ends of the rubber flares to the main flare, but supplied no screws for it. I didn't fit screws initially, but have now done it to keep the rubber in position better.

I think I might just save the extra cash and get a new one fitted

Don't know where you are or the bar is, but if you are going to get it freighted, check out the costs before you buy it. I got stung badly by TNT freight. Cannot remember what it was, but I was quoted about $80 and it finished up being over $200. Not happy...

I've just bought a NW Ironman bull bar secondhand. Does anybody know if it would this bolt straight up to my NS?
