    As the engine light is on, you should be able to read the code. What is it?

    This is a classic symptom of fault code U1100 which is an occasional communication error which is caused by having something plugged into the OBDII port. It can be resolved by turning the car off, unplugging the item from the OBDII port, and then starting the car again. (The the item from the OBDII port can then be reconnected)
    yeah car works fine now it's U1100 code and U1073. Pulled it out. left the car for awhile. Everything working good now. Yes it's the ODB device I plugged in that happened. Scared me for a bit there.
