Default [SA] NL Pajero rear LSD with 4.636 cw & p

ITEM:
NL Pajero rear LSD with 4.636:1 crown wheel & pinion.

CONDITION:
I bought an entire rear axle from a wrecker, out of a 3.5V6 NL Pajero (9.5" diff). I then put a 4.3:1 centre into the housing, for a project car. This is the original Pajero LSD, with 4.636:1 crown wheel & pinion and Torsen LSD.

I can supply the VIN from the donor vehicle, but have no other information regarding condition.

REASON FOR SELLING:
Surplus to requirements. The rear axle will be installed in Shorty with a new 4.3:1 LSD from a Triton.

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS:
Haggling starts at $400, pickup only. If you think that's too much, explain what's an appropriate price - I'm open to ideas.

LOCATION:
Adelaide (NE Suburbs)

CONTACT:
PM me here.

Hey NJ, just interested in the conversion. Your 4.3 diff would have been from Gen 3 or 4 correct? Are you saying that the 4.3 diff just bolts into the Gen 2 housing? I would have thought not & that you would have had to retain the Gen2 diff centre but change the CW & p, or am I missing something here?

Hi Ian,

The 4.3s came from a Triton (New Old Stock, from Eagle Auto Parts). I didn't do the install myself, but the specialist said it was all mix & match. NL housing and axles, Triton LSD.

Gen 4 front 4.3s went into Shorty's housing too (formally 4.875).

Without going to the garage and digging out the box, I believe it is the 31 spline / 33.6mm diameter as listed by ARB for the 9.5" live rear axle.

The original NL Pajero axles slotted straight into the new Triton LSD centre; I believe your Challenger would also have the same splines.
