Nm gls fog lights

Hi all i have a 2000 nm gls , on the dash i have the factory switch to turn on the fog lights that are suppose to be in the bumper and a little light shows in the dash once pushed . My pajero does not have them in the bumper so does this mean that bumper has been replaced or do some not come out with them in the bumper but still in the dash ? Cheers

This is for a rear fog light. Turn your lights on then put the fog light button to on. Ok at the driver side rear lights (where the fake ones are) and you will see there is a red light showing in the driver side only. This is the fog light to stop people running into you when visuality is low.

I have had my NM for 12 years now and only found this out last month when fiddling around.
