    Mmcs Service Menu

I believe there is a hidden service menu in the Mmcs but how do you access it? I've tried pushing various combinations of buttons without any luck. My version is the W13 in an NX Exceed.

    Hi Panopoly,
This works in the NW.... so it's worth a try

In the audio screen with the power off, so you see the red screen
Touch the top of the screen, then bottom 3 times (top, bottom, top, bottom, top, bottom)
Then left, then right once each

Touch the screen for about 1 second
This is what opens the menu for me

    Hope it works
    Cheers
    John

In the MK2 version MMCS, I think its press the Settings & Map buttons together for a couple of seconds. Be careful what you do in the service menu - there are some things in there that might break it.............

        Vehicle speed Mmcs

I've looked at the service menu and all the gps menus but I don't seem to be able to find a way of displaying actual vehicle speed. Any ideas?

I don't think anyone has found out how to do that on the MK2 - I suspect not possible.

Sorry to drag up an old post but I did this once about a month ago but can't seem to do it now. Can anyone explain please?

When you say in audio screen with power off, do you press power button off, turn ignition off to accessories or what? Tried various combinations without luck.

It was ignition on with the mmcs off. You should have a blank red screen.
It was a while ago that I did it and don’t have the mmcs unit anymore, so can’t bemore help

On my NX Pajero (2015 Build)

I put the Ignition to ACC
                OK the Warning screen
                Press Home button
                Press Off button
Press the Top-left of screen for 3 to 4 seconds
Press the Bottom-right of screen for 3-4 seconds

All the options then come up but be careful as the Wrong choices could Kill your Car

Still can't get into hidden menu

Sorry, I still can't get into the hidden menu. I did once 2 months ago but not since.

The instructions given are as follows, but my MMCS V1 does not have a Home or off button?
                    (Picture below)

                    'Put the Ignition to ACC
                    OK the Warning screen

Hidden menu MMCS V1 NS - NW

Finally worked out how to get into the hidden menus. The instructions given were missing an important step.

Warning - be careful - there are things in here you should not change and could do damage (others have said).

                          With accessories on,
                          - press audio so you are in one of the audio screen modes
                          - press power so you just have the word 'audio off' in the top left corner.

Then there are actually 2 service menus.

                          Service menu 1
tap left centre, then right centre, repeated 3 times in order and the hidden menu below appears.

This is what the first hidden menu looks like - 2 pages

                          Service menu 2

This is what the service hidden menu looks like - 4 pages

Page 4 has the bluetooth settings to change bluetooth phone volumes

Handsfree voice quality set, 4 should be fine for most people (I've bumped mine to 5 to try it out - which is max)

                            GPS Speed

Also came across the GPS speed which you could use to check your speedo, but unfortunately this only appears in the menu, not the GPS. Go to Nav Menu, Navigation setup, Vehicle Signal. You can see my speed reading when driving. If you restart the car or put it in reverse, it goes back to the normal screen.

Sad you can't show vehicle speed on the gps but having latitude and longitude coordinates could be a bonus if you ever broke down and had to give road service your location or broke down or got stuck/lost in the bush?
