    MY18 Pajero???

Looking at updating from the trusty NP to a current NX in the next 6-12mths and got to thinking about what MMA might add to the MY18?
What, if anything could be expected? Keyless entry/start? Adaptive cruise? Paddle shift? Trickle down features from Exceed/GLS?
What month do new model year vehicles normally hit shores?

Id say there's a very big chance there will be "NO" MY18 Pajero

Don't think the 3.2 DID is euro 6 compliant which means with its current drive train its a dead ???

I hope so too. It's bad enough that manual transmission is no longer offered, but no Pajero at all??? It will be a sad, sad day when that announcement is made. Even though the PS is more of a challenger replacement than a Pajero one, I guess us traditionalists will have to learn to love the shape of that.... Though I would prefer something ..... A little more 4WD and less spaceship though....
Maybe MY20 PS will get wings and thrusters...

MM have got the 3.2 DID Euro 6 compliant, they've been selling them here in the UK for a couple of years now. I'm not sure of the exact difference but I don't think there's any additional environmental equipment, I think they just managed to remap it.

From what I have seen it looks like:
                Euro 4 tune = 147 KW
                Euro 5 tune + DPF = 141 KW
                Euro 6 tune + DPF+ = 140 KW

however all tunes have the same 441nm torque

wonder if they put the "Ad Blue" into the equation

AdBlue is a high quality urea solution that is easy to use. AdBlue is the registered trademark for AUS32, or Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5% that is used with the Selective Catalytic Reduction system (SCR) to reduce emissions of oxides of nitrogen from the exhaust of UK diesel vehicles.

MY18 Outlander and ASX updates are out now according to local dealer.
Can't be too long until we see the MY18 Pajero update.

As with 'salespeople' from Good Guys, Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, JB, Real Estate et al.

Sadly, I think the Pajero as we know (and most of us love) it is doomed to the crusher. Relistically speaking, this body shell has been on the market for nearly 18years, and that is a long time in automotive products.

I didn't like the NM shell when it came out (I am still not that keen on it), but I bought my NW for its design, not style. Most people buy their cars based on style, not design, so it is probably time for Mitsubishi to give this shell the axe. When I bought my NW back in 2013, I thought it was going to be the last model in that shell, but they brought out the NX, but I doubt that there will be any more. Anyway, by the time they get to the last model in a series, hopefully they have ironed out all the bugs and refined it to the maximum.

Resign yourselves to the fact that our Pajeros are doomed to extinction. Doesn't worry me - I cannot see me buying another new car for a very long time.
