I think your trip needs a novice so if your all keen to keep me right i'll tag along as well.

Haven't done any soft sand so looking forward to the experience.

I'll be bringing my 3yr old with me so as he can dig me out.

Will meet at the south meeting point.

I would suggest the Hayborough Pharmacy Carpark would be a good spot.

Do you have a radio, we usually travel on UHF 12.

Its been quit a few years since I have been down that way, so I'm not sure how long it takes to get from the South Rd / Victor Harbour Rd corner to Victor, but we are meeting on that corner at around 10:30 I believe.

Lana, we're expected at Seaford at 10:15ish. According to whereis.com it will take about 40mins to get from Seaford to Goolwa. Therefore I imagine we'll get to Goolwa beach carpark about 11ish (depending on traffic and talking time at Seaford).

I'll send you a PM of how you can contact me on the day if you decide to meet us - I reakon Goolwa beach carpark would be as easy as anywhere (it's also the 4wd access point to the sand).

I did say "if" and not "when", luckily there in no "death valley" on the mouth run but there is a narrow section of beach about 2/3s down from Goolwa that can catch you out if tyre pressures are too high and you are not concerntrating. We all get stuck when offroading, if you don't then you are not learning, at least there will be people to help anyone out (and take photos!).

have fun down there at the mouth, nothing to worry about, as long as you let your tyres down you guys will be fine

the worst part is getting off the beach after all the yobo's carve the entry/exit up

i still thank you for the extra skills you showed us at Peake, am enjoying the slower driving and showing up some of the so called "Skilled" guys i have been with on some 4x4 earth trips
