    Engine swap

Hi all I have a 3ltr NH swb 5 speed currently just over 315k on the clock
I am toying with the idea of removing the v6 and putting in a 4g64 or 4g69 and possibly throwing a turbo on it down the track
Apart from the thirst it runs really well and i love driving it , i really don't want to get rid of it but I want something that will be cheaper to run ( fuel , registration etc )
Has anyone ever done this conversion and if so have you got any tips
    Cheers

Honestly if you're gonna swap engines and bite the bullet, might as well go for a Diesel. My 2.8 burns next to nothing. I go to the beach and come back on 1/4 tank, and throw a little beach driving and some hill climbs in 4L. Cheers.
