Had to ditch the 33s/15" Too wide.. Gone with 285s on 80 series cruiser wheels.
But, I'm driving it! I've obviously always going to have more fiddling to do with it, namely guards, interior and tray fitout, but I can take it places!
I'm obviously happy
And a photo with my brother's 80shero-mobile.

Haha cheers, I like that about it so much. Took my ranger on what will probably be its last trip, just this past weekend.. I have a work van now so I'm going to try offload that and dedicate the Pajero to camping. Keen!1989 NG single cab ute. 33" Federals, ARB bar & completely incomplete

So I’ve killed it again..?
Killed the fuel pump. Searching this forum seems it can be common to burn out the pump on steep declines as the pump runs hot without fuel surrounding it. Easy to replace with half the car gone.. now it’s got fuel to the rail but still won’t start..?
Off the the mechanic on Tuesday.Attached Files1989 NG single cab ute. 33" Federals, ARB bar & completely incomplete

Sooooooo wasn’t fuel related. Was the ol’ timing belt. Deadset munched itself. Obliterated. 2 new heads, complete new cooling system & a lot of effort later and she made it back on the road about 10 days before my west coast Tassie trip!
West coast tassie is a blast! Could’ve been nicer weather to us, but it was to be expected. Car runs awesome. Oh also it got some 265/75/16 Toyo open country MT just before we left, Warn XD9000 fitted, the wanker big UHF aerial off my ranger, extended diff breathers, but I’m still yet to put an FM aerial back in after the snorkel install haha.. only been about 4 years
