We stayed there in 2008 so it could have changed, but their was nice grassy campsites and places for a fire with firewood supplied. The showers and toilets were ok too.
We were their 2 nights and several times we heard people yell out that there were dingos outside the fence, so I'm glad we were behind the fence.

Don't get paranoid about the dingos. Seriously, a bit of common sense, follow the rangers advice, and you'll have no worries.

Haven't stayed at Dilli Village been to Central station a few times and dundubarra centrals handy if only staying a few days as most things are down the bottom of the island (no camp fires at central) dundubarra camp fire is allowed but it is a bit of a drive if only there a few days.

And agree with mrbitchi common sense have and adult with kids at all times and you will have no issues, a few years back we camped at Cornwells group are 20 adults 42 kids never had a dingo issue, just backpackers using the ports loos when we were out

we've stayed at central station ( Fenced) and one tree rocks ( not Fenced) on various trips including with one couple who had an 18 mth old. Whilst the dingos do hang around as long as you follow the precautions and first time you see the alpha male chase him away with lots of noise they tend to leave you alone. Of course you need to keep an eye on the kids irrespective of a fence as there are lots of other nasties about and they can get through fences.

In the main the wildlife will stay away provided there is no food or water around for them.

Biggest issue people have is with their washing up water, they just tip it out near the camp, scraps and all it either needs to go down the water traps at places like central or else it needs to be tipped into a hole a minimum of 600mm dip or they will dig it up in the campsites where there is no disposal point.

                Fraser

We just spent a week at Cathedrals on Fraser not a bad place there is a shop there that has groceries, takeaway food, ice, bait, and fuel etc. We didn't plan on staying there for the whole stay but they had a special on in August for $20 per night for unpowered sites so decided to stay there for the whole stay. From memory it was only about 45mins to eurong and a little less to Indian heads. Also went and had a look at Dundaburra camp ground which is about 10mins away from Cathedrals it looked pretty good as well and is all Dingo fenced as well.
