Sorry, didn't mean to scare people.
Being a 'training' track nothing is mandatory and there are often several tracks of varying difficulty at obstacles.
You can go as hard or easy as you like.

Experienced...maybe with outback touring, but not low range technical stuff.

My wife and I are 50/50, will know later in the week but need to be back in town by 3.30.
What time would do you think we would arrive at Jakem and get started....10ish ?

If everyone is on time, I'd say we'll be arriving at Jakem for opening at 9am.

Time to go inside and pay, air down etc would be 30 minutes.

It's only a 30-40 minute drive from the bottom of the freeway. Last time we were there, we took our time, had lunch etc and were back at the main training track by 2pm (we could have spent more time out the back)

Plan is to be at Jakem around 9 (as suggested by Pajero 12 above). You would be able to depart at a time that suits you (even if we are still playing), so any other commitments can easily be kept.

Both were great trips. Almost no damage done on last year's trip - main 'damage' last year was me getting a puncture on one of the 'transport stages / farm tracks' (combination of bad luck, inattention, and crappy Bridgestone tires).

Is anyone bringing their kids along? I might have my 5- and 8 year old boys, but if there's going to be no others around, I might try to leave them at home with mum.

Hi mate, not 100% sure but will probably be 'going solo' this weekend.

It is not a designated boys day, although at this stage I think there is only one partner that I know of coming along.
If you think the family will enjoy it, then bring them along.
