That's my recollection too. Have you checked Redbook to see if they list the model you're after?

As stated NL Swb only 3.5lt petrol and NK Swb only 3.0lt for Australian release. Would only be an import.

I'd like a diesel SWB

Is importing from Japan easy enough? Or just too much trouble?

If anyone has any tips I'd be very keen to hear them.

Thanks.

I would think it'll be a lot of marking around but talk to Jspec who currently import into Australia.

I was just lucky as I've been patiently on the lookout specifically for an NL DIESEL SWB for some time now and out of the blues, one did come up in gumtree for sale last week in Brisbane and yes it was an import. I couldn't get to Brisbane fast enough but I did and hey presto its currently on its way to Cairns.

Heres a pic.
