Gen 4 vs 100 Series video

After watching the Pajero/Delica factory video, this vid came up:

    Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrolAYKAeygSoodla, Estonia 2018.04.22Mitsubishi Pajero – new Cooper STT Pro 285/70 R17Toyota Land Cruiser 100 – Coope...

A Gen 4 Pajero and a 100 Series Cruiser in some seriously muddy terrain.

A couple of times the Cruiser gets stuck in places that look pretty benign - I couldn't work out if it had a functioning rear LSD?

The winch install on the front of the Paj looked pretty neat too - it certainly got a work-out.
NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 ST Maxx, Lift, Lockers, Lockup Mate, Low range reduction, LRA Aux tank, bull bar, winch, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!

Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....

Tyres. The Cruiser had Cooper S/T while the Pajero had STT. You can see the S/Ts fill up while the STTs cleared.

Yes, and the tyres on the Cruiser seem to be the older S/T rather than the newer S/T Maxx, which would be a bit closer to "muddies".

Talking of 100 series 'cruisers, I see 15 year old ones that people are asking way MORE than what a brand-new Pajero would be. Sure they are / were a great vehicle but a 15 year old one worth $66,000??
        Who pays these prices?

That was an interesting Video. I like the winch setup. I would like to get a Smart bar but the finances aren't so keen, but that set up would be a great confidence booster.

Nothing has been said about the Pajero, but it probably has a rear diff locker which got it through,e specially when it was trying to climb out of the deeper ruts.
