    Driveline service.

My NT diesel has done 122000 and I am heading up the centre and down the west coast and then back to Vic, towing an 1800kg caravan in June-Aug.
What is the service interval for the drive line in the Pajero.
I bought it second hand with a full service history about 3 months ago.
Should I change the diff oil, transfer case oil and possibly auto transmission fluid before I head off or would this have already been done as part of the normal servicing?
It has not done heavy duty service previously.
I have put a catch can on it an done an inlet track clean with one of the propriety diesel inlet sprays.

From memory diff oils every 90kms, transfer every 105kms, auto every 195kms under normal usage, halve the distance for severe usage.

Personally I change diff and transfer oils every 45000kms and auto oil every 90000kms regardless that mine doesn't fall under severe usage.

Unless you know for certain it's had those services I would change them regardless and then you know where its at.

      I second what Aussietas said.

I did my auto fluid at 90,000 and it was black not the light red colour as standard. There was also a noticeable difference in the auto after the fluid change.

        Hmm black at 90,000?
Much towing or heavy work during that period?
