After info/ conditions of traveling the Adventure way/ Bulloo development rd to SA boarder from Thargomindah?

G'day Bryan,

Did that just late Oct heading for the Simmo from Brissy, all blacktop except for about 10ks or so around Jackson Oilfield (very stark and exposed through there).
Really nice run, we drove from Bollon to Inna in a day, but got in there (wanting fuel) at 1605, and they'd just shifted to Summer hrs closing at 1600 !!
Ah well, met our desert companion coming from BV at Walkers before heading in to Rig Rd via Warburton.

Where you heading from ? When ?
Will be hot if soon, ensure everything's is good order with mechanicals.

Going go BV for the races did it last year & loved it, was just looking for another route,
Sydney, Byrock, Thargomindah, Windorah, Birdsville - Innamincka Packsaddle, Broken hill, Whitecliffs , Sydney is what I did last year,

Great mate, love the idea of the races one year myself, but to date have kept away from the high traffic times for desert crossings.

Which way'd you go BV - Inna last year ?
You could take Walkers going up, and either Arabury or Cordillo on the ay back, whichever you haven't done ?

If going Arabury you can bag Haddon Corner on the way through, not bad camping there.

After BV, came thru walkers crossing, cordillo downs.
The trafic isn't really that bad we got to BV on the Wednesday did big red Thursday, races Friday & did the smart thing of leaving Saturday down to Innamincka, there was only one other camper which was great, only problem, we stayed for two days as we went to the dig tree. The traffic in Sunday was a bit mad as while we were having a camp oven/ beer relaxing
Others were setting up & others were just passing thru.
