    Sulphur smell with Caltex Vortex

I have the Paj serviced the other week and the mechanic put Inter-jectron injector cleaner through it. Since the service I have been getting the rotten egg smell when I have put Caltex Vortex in (2 tanks). No problems with BP (4 tanks). The mechanic has said that it is just the cat converter getting cleaned out but I am worried that there is some chemical reaction I don't understand going on.

Any ideas where the smell would be coming from? Should I be worried?

I would put it down to simply the different additives that each company adds to make it their own is the reason.
Each fuel company doesn't have it's own refinery ................ you can see tankers with all brands filling at the same refinery but they add their own goodies

I use Caltex Vortex 99% of the time and never notice any odd smells.

I too use vortex diesel almost all the time (unless not available) find the paj runs a bit better and is much smoother especially at idle. no odd smells here
