    Fame or infamy?

    So one of my OME shocks has failed after 70k km, and I'm looking at options to replace it.

    Because I have stevemc's old Dobinson MRRs on the rear, of course I'm looking at Dobinson's offerings for the front.

    On this page I saw a thumbnail image that looked familiar, so I clicked on it:



    Un-attributed, but that's definitely a Pajero, and the springs are 35HDSP. As I understand it, that is a very limited item.

    I'm sure that if I went digging far enough on this forum I could find the same photo. But before I expend the effort, I'll see if somebody claims it.
    NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 ST Maxx, Lift, Lockers, Lockup Mate, Low range reduction, LRA Aux tank, bull bar, winch, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!

    Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....

        Steve MC. From memory one of his rear springs snapped after the infamous Canning Stock route trip. Not sure if it was one of these springs though.
        09 ML GLX-R 3.2L Manual. Bushskinz bash plates, 285/75x16 Kumho MT51 & 16x8 alloys, 3" exhaust, Dobinson MRR 2"lift, MCC Bar and Wheel Carrier, 12000lb ICM winch, Dual Batteries, Billet Turbo compressor upgrade, Brown and Davis LR tank.
