    TJM bar on my PC

Took the plunge today on my bull bar. Very happy Also I put in the Tough Dog rear springs and adjustable big bore shocks in the rear yesterday. Measured a 30 mm lift. Ride and handling is 10 times better already. Doing the front this weekend. The front has sagged 18mm from the bar on the stock springs. Truck looks tough. I like it.

    MBP.

Did you drive it around with the bar and stock springs? Was the handling with tjm bar on stock springs really bad?

Thanks guys. Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Definitely dives more under brakes. I wouldn't recommend not upgrading the springs though. Can't wait for the heavy duty springs up front with the adjustables. Should be a street weapon

Should also mention that Steve at TJM in Perth is a top bloke and his techs did a great job. All fitted up for less than $2100.

Pulled out the front struts and replaced the shocks with
Bilsteins, got a trade price of $420 delivered.
Took about 4 hours to fit. The car now stands more than 1" taller
              than with the originals.
I have ordered rear Bilsteins which i will fit next week, i will have to
drop the long rang tank to get at one of the top mounts

Can you please post your heights, centre hub to under wheel arch.

                cheers, old Jack.

The old shocks had done a lot of corrugations .
They are standard springs and are quite substantial, i was thinking
of a 2' lift but not now.

Put deposit towards a titanium My14 non Ls
                      Expected delivery this Friday.

The Mm bull bar and fog lights are listed on the sale letter as non genuine dealer installed. Shouldn't they be listed as genuine? Have to call them back on Monday to confirm.

Looks like the car has settled on the shocks now and is looking more
                        like a standard Challenger

I had the brakes fixed yesterday, new pads (non genuine) and disks machined and also had the two recalls looked at and all is good.

The guys at Newstead are the best blokes i have dealt with, in regards to car servicing, Lee is very knowledgable and listens to you. Blair is pretty good as well. Thanks guys.
