    Steering column movement

    Does anyone know a fix for up and down movement in the steering column in a NP

    I have found the wheel is loose where it joins the steering column. Not enough movement to wory about yet.

      Could be the nut that holds the wheel onto the column. To get at that you will have to disconnect the battery, so the airbag does not go off. Then take the pad off the wheel to expose the nut. I think this has been covered on the forum. Try a search and you might find full instructions.
      NP did, auto, mags, aux tank, bullbar, hid spots, leds, uhf, engine watchdog, safari chip, anderson plug, fridge socket, gps, snorkel, airbags, sidesteps, dual batteries, hr towbar, brake controller, torque convertor lockup switch, slotted discs, stainless braided brake hoses, led rev lights.
