    Please Help-Blinking Difetential

    Hello to lovely Pajero community.
After some driving with my new V60,the orange differential icon in tachometer starts blinking .
I drived some 200 km in city, and after some 30 to 40 km in highways the icon starts blinking.
After engine off,i start the engine and everything works fine till next drive to highway.
    Any suggestion.

    Hi, Welcome to the forum.
There are quite a few threads in the forum about this issue and tips on how to fix that.
    Couple of things to look at are;
    - faulty vacuum solenoids (located under the airbox)
    - faulty switches
    - faulty fron diff actuator

My issue was fixed by replacing the vacuum solenoids. If you are good with DIY stuff, you can check these by taking them off, and applying 12v to each. It should make a small pulsing noice when you apply the current. If not, it's faulty. You can buy the solenoids off ebay.

First place to check. Are all four tyres of the same brand, size, pressure and amount of wear? Tyres of different size can cause that flashing light problem.

        Hello Peter
I check the tyre presure, everything look normal, tyres are all the same.
The only problem that I found is a broken spring.
I checked the car underneath, and i saw a small peace in back left spring is broken. Can these cause the problem.
Also i removed the 2 hoses from the front solinoid in engine compartment,in 2L and 4L and there was no presure.
I try my best as a new V60 owner.
        Thanks for your reply.

I am trying to find the problem with steps from A to Z

          Thank you Konstantinos

To lookup part numbers, try http://www.auto-parts.spb.ru/cat/mi/mi2.mycat?SelVh.
Search the forum; there's a post regarding the issue with some images of the switches and solenoids.

I replaced the altarnator and found that there was a pipe that was cut in half ,the pipe was from one side connected to the engine, and the other to solenoids inside the engine compartment.
Can these cause the 4wd system to work unstable and the red differentials lights blink.
                Thank you

That pipe provides the vacuum to disengage the front differential to go into 2wd. Without vacuum going to the solenoids means it would stay in 4wd

Hopefully by now the OP has fixed the problem. In my experience with my NT, a problem with the actuator can cause the flashing centre diff light as described, if driving in 2H. In my experience, the front wheel lights will flash initially, before the flashing centre diff light. The OP didn't mention if any of the wheel lights flash.

For me, driving in 4H made the problem go away.

                      Thank all off you.
The blinking Difetential light is fixed.
As it seems, the problem was the cut tube.
