    Gen 4 Door lower cover removed?

    anyone ever removed the lower plastic outer trims on the doors, ? cant find any pics but imagine it would look pretty clean.

    this is the closest i can see t what it would look like,

    I kinda like them as they protect the door from other people hitting my car with their doors in car parks. Still doesn't stop damage completely but I feel a bit better about it when it's the plastic rather than denting the door.

      The plastic trims are held on by a number of clips along with double sided tape. The clips push through into the door through holes, thus removing them will leave these holes exposed. See diagram below.

        so their called door garnish any wonder i couldn’t find em.



        pity about the holes and that the rear door one incorporates the part of the rear wheel spat. :-(
