You most likely won't - That's for OBD-II - AFAIK, pajeros have MIT-II up until around 2005 I think?) - extremely annoying that Mitsu decided to make their own protocol rather than use the industry standard!
Though you might be lucky, and have one of the few paj's which *did* get OBD-II? (The US had a 1996 deadline for all vehicles to support OBD-II, so the montero's got it, from what I've read on the forums, *some* .au pajero's got it, as some *do* work with things like scanguage, but most don't..) - It'll be up under the drivers side footwell somewhere there.. Though I'd suggest finding someone who HAS an OBD-II reader (friendly mechanic? or local ricer club members), and trying to plug it in first, before you outlay the dosh - I'm pretty sure MIT-II is *physically* compatible with the OBD-II connector - just has a different pinout/protocol..
Sorry, it's stupidly late, and I've been up since 4am :-p But I do know that getting an OBD-II reader working on a Pajero pre-2005ish is a very hit&miss exercise Do a search on here for scanguage or OBD-II
