Default HERE City and Country maps.

Anyone used "HERE" maps? A bit like Google maps but better. It seems to know most points/tracks in the high country and Pyrenees state park that I have entered and is able to give directions on how to get there.

Can be loaded as an APP for Android and iPhone for "Turn by Turn guidance" on or offline. Yet to try this but sounds good.

Here Maps came with my Windows Phone, didn't have a need for it so deleted it may have to re-install it and have a closer look.

Got it last night, and tried this morning.

Seems to be quite good and some "off road" maps as well.

This Saturday going out for a drive, will try to see how off road it will track

Here maps is what the Hema app changes to once you zoom in too much for their 1:250000 maps to display properly. It seems to have pretty much all the same tracks on it with the addition of the names of them. Only down side I've found is it doesn't seem as clear to read as the Hema maps.

Nice find seems pretty good so far. i typed in the names of a few tracks i know and it finds them no problems and will take you there. Haven't actually tested it on the road yet.

Tested it on the road this morning, and have to say it's spot on including slightly heavy traffic.

I'll be taking it off road this weekend, and will report back.

as promised.

Went out today, had a play around Newnes Plateau area.

I was surprised that Here picked up every single road I went on.

So overall I'm happy about it, and for next time will compile a route and see if it will guide me there.
