Default Any experiences with Berrima Diesel?

G’day Guys,
Just wondering if anyone here has had any work done on their rig by the guys at Berrima Diesel? If so was it a good experience? Were they good to deal with and did they explain to you in detail the work they did?
Considering getting them to fit one of their Performance and Protection bundles which consists of a DP Chip, Provent catch can, Plug n Go throttle unit, and fuel pre filter kit.
Reading their website it sounds like they certainly have decades of experience & yes they maybe expensive compared to others but happy to pay for that experience.
Cheers. FrasR

No experience with them but a pre filter is a waste of money.

The Donaldson 3 micron post OEM filter is the way to go.

Berrima Diesel will tell you not to do it.

Posters here have 100,000s of ks with post 3 micron filters with no il effects. Us included.

Throttle booster is all in peoples heads

The advertising says it works so it must.?

I,d go with an ecu remap, the catch can and not the pre filter. First filter from tank should be the coarsest filter. Make the filter the second filter from the tank and make it a 3 micron unit... Getting them to install the catch can and secondary filter is gunna cost big bucks compared to doing it yourself...they are not hard to do..Wont need the throttle unit if the ecu remap is done as all lag will be eliminated. Save money and fit catch can and secondary filter your self..

Thanks for your quick reply’s BnB & Dicko,
So what micron rating is the OE fuel filter in the Paj Sport 2.4 engine?
I assume it’s not as fine as 3 micron?

Someone here has emailed the filter distributes including Mitsubishi.

I think all responded with their micron and efficiency ratings except Mitsubishi. The Donaldson came out best @ 3 micron at around 98 to 99% efficiency.

Mitsubishi would only say their filter was 10 micron without giving the efficiency rating. That's the 4 series Pajero. I can't see the Sport being different..

Racor-Parker recommend 3 micron for common rail fuel systems.

I installed the Fuel Manager filter as a secondary unit. Diesel Care sell both pre and secondary. They recommend the secondary, however Berrima recommend the pre filter.
