Default Where does this spring go..see photo

Can someone with an NM pop under the back drivers side and see where this spring hooks to and if possible supply a photo.

Have a look on Page 26 of the manual...

Looks to me as though your brake proportioning valve has been removed??

Do you have the Vacuum booster or Hydraulic booster?

Or fallen off last week...hit a couple of unexpected bumps so will drop into Mitsubishi.
Quite odd as the car is running normal.

All fixed.
The brake adjuster thingy was removed at sometime by someone and put back the incorrect way and the result is it the spring dislodged.
As above mrbitchi was spot on.
