I put in another steering box today and rather then take out the radiator and hoses I cut a 6 inch flap on the inner guard and saved a heap of time and sanity. I hope that this is the last time that I have to do that. I am going to buy a kit for the one I took off and flog it on eBay to recoup the $160 I spent buying the replacement. I would have liked to have two cars so I could have saved money by just having one box to fix. I did find that the imbecile who put the last pitman on should be flogged for cross threading the nut on the shaft.
