Is fully synthetic oil better to use in a non DPF paj like my NW?

Absolutely. I use the Valvoline 5w-40 full synthetic (have done from brand new) in my NW. Penrite equivalent will be fine as well. When on special , buy in bulk. I also believe Repco has 35% off Penrite oils...advertised on tv in Cairns region, anyway.
