    Cheers for all the replies.
I had an injured hand so was look for a mechanic to get it fix quick but I had forgotten how expensive they were, so I did most of the work myself.

Anyway the worst of the vibration turned out to be engine mounts. The old ones weren't ripped or perishing. They looked and felt like old but good rubber mounts. Put the new ones in and it was night and day.

At the moment I'm working on a vibration under acceleration up to around 2k.
It might be normal. I've been working on this car so long I have forgot what it was like before I started.

Also how much does your transfer gear stick move when you accelerate?
