NS Paint Code

I’ve got a Jan 2007 SWB NS. It is the VRX higher model and has 2 digit paint and trim codes. I’m having trouble matching the paint code as most seem to be three digit. I suspect the 2 digit code may link to the primary and trim paint colours but only guessing. The paint code is HU. The trim code is X9. Searching the web gives no clues and my favourite paint shop can’t search it on their system either. Has anyone got any guidance? Cheers

Mate you are looking at the wrong plate, the one one firewall near the brake fluid.

You need to look at the plate on the underside of the bonnet on the passenger side.

The top line will have Model Number and the bottom line has Colour Int Opt. The first three alpha numeric digits are the paint code.....example A19 is whats on mine. The stamped number will look something like .....A19X75 for example. But just the first 3 digits are the paint code.

Sorry forgot to say. The 2nd set of 3 digits is the second colour if 2 tone. Like on my NS x swb it has darker grey around wheel arches etc.

Thanks. You are correct and I was looking at the wrong plate. I’ve got three sets of codes to look up. Thanks for the guidance!
