Someone said it was covered under 10 year powertran warranty. I believe that warranty is only valid for the original owner?
Unfortunately the 10 year powertrain warranty is only valid for original owner (refer to service/warranty handbook).

Anyone had the engine mounts replaced not under warranty?

I am wondering how much it may cost and how many hours labor are involved.

I replaced engine mounts last year with Febest replacements - so far holding up perfectly well, though as it turned out my original 10 year old Mitsubishi mounts weren't actually broken - maybe just a touch soft. (Anyway I wanted to replace them as preventative maintenance). Apart from being a prick of a job it wasn't really difficult or overly time consuming. Just did it in my garage with standard tools. An experienced mechanic should do it quicker than I can, but I don't see why this job couldn't be done in a couple of hours or so.

Just to add some input for future readers wondering about price, I paid a mechanic to replace my 2x engine mounts (not including trans) and was quoted $750, ended up at $930 that included drive belts which he found were worn/missing bits and said he had a real hard time changing one of the mounts in particular. Was around 5 hours labour.

I bought genuine mounts from Partsouq and then paid my local independent mechanic to change them. They changed 1 hr labour pr side (2 hrs in total @$100 hr = $200 labour which included free use of their shit box loan car for the day).

Partsouq currently have the mounts listed at $118AU each but shipping is a killer- total purchase and freight currently from Partsouq is $340 - which is still substantially cheaper than Mitsubishi locally.
