Very loose Manual Shifter

The amount of play left to right while its in gear is comparable to other cars in neutral , anyone else had this problem ?

Plastic socket on bottom end of gear stick wears out.

Very common. Only last a 100 to 200,000km.

Pretty cheap and relatively easy for competent mechanical minded person to replace.
