Hi Guys
I'm stuck, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1999 TD Pajero which had a new clutch installed 3 months ago (highway clutch with new spiggot bearing & rear main) in preparation for a trip to the cape in June. Since the new clutch a vibration has developed at approx 90km/h, you cant really feel it but it's the kind of vibration that makes your ears drum.
There is also a noise coming from the clutch when the car is idling (allot louder than the original clutch). So far 3 mechanics have told me the noise is normal, they also advised me to ignore it just get used to it. I can deal with the vibration, i just wanted to know if any of you guys have had this before, and weather this is probably going to be an issue while doing the cape?
So far i have rotated the rear tailshaft 90 Degrees with no change.
Thanks in advance for your replies
