Pop the bonnet, little screw by the lens, and a spring out the back , drivers side easy, remove the rad overflow, for pass side.

I fitted cree T10 LEDs , or a knock off, super bright and clear.

is the screw facing outwards? is it just one or several?
the air intake centrifuge is right behind it so i can't see s**t back there!
do i need to remove the headlight cover as well?
BTW; looking at LEDs how do i know what brightness they are? is it the wattage, or some other No.?

Any T10 will be fine just get the 4 LED unit from jaycar $3:50 each.
        CAT. NO. ZD0394

Grab some pretty red ones for the dash/centre gauge (T10 X6)
        5 X T5 (2 X heater control/1 ign lock/1 ashtray/1 cig lighter socket)
grind the lens off the ones for the dash.

I replaced all the festoon bulbs (28~31mm??) X5 with LED versions
handy when i leave the car door open for hours on end.
One more T5 for that door open dash light...

I tried LED's in the rear high stop, it struggled with my ambo tint job, had to go back to std bulbs after testing.

I also put a diode in the brake line > Fog circut to switch the fog lights on with brakes. (i see many nose to tails on the pac motorway)

Pet hate. Cars with 3+ brake lights. with one going...FFS people.

Just one screw, in front of the radiator support panel, to the side of the headlight, on a 45* angle facing the centre of the vehicle. The spring part is actually hidden behind the inner guard, but you'll see a wire hook protruding from a hole in the inner guard. A second "hook" locks onto this hole in the guard. Pull this hook to the rear of the vehicle and unhook it from the guard. This whole spring/hook assembly needs to go through the hole in the inner guard to withdraw the lamp assembly from the front corner.
do i need to remove the headlight cover as well?
You will, as the headlight cover will stop the side light assembly being removed completely.

phone camera makes it look a little funny.

Top left, Forward dvr, basic but fun
7" GPS with wired reverse cam,
HP Ipac holder pressed into service for iphone.
                completely legal steering wheel.

the heater, ign switch and door open dash light are all the t5 from jaycar.

Alpine cde126 bt head unit, mic is up by rear vision mirror.
Mids in dash, tweeters on uprights.
6x9's (with full covers in rear, i do use the rear seats, and they are always little ones with fingers)
Big sub in boot, has to come out to drop rear seats....painful.

the capture is a still from the camera. in video mode.I want a gopro.
