    Does your 4wd smoke.

I was outside of our Paj. when it was start. At this point I notice a puff og blackist smoke come out of the exhaust. Now the Paj has done 112k kms, so I presume that the rings are starting to wear.Would this be correct and would the number of kms be a factor.Could there be other factors ie old oil.

Black smoke is excess fuel, blue smoke is oil and white smoke is cold combustion temperature.

Blowing black smoke on start up is normal. At 112K I highly doubt your rings are worn.
